The Bank of America Chicago Marathon is the pinnacle of achievement for elite athletes and everyday runners alike. On Sunday, October 7, 2012, runners from all 50 states and more than 100 countries will set out to accomplish a personal dream. Following are all the details participants need to make sure they are ready for race day.

Information Presented By Tata Consultancy Services
Information presented by Tata Consultancy Services will be available at the Bank of America Chicago Marathon Health & Fitness Expo and throughout Grant Park on race day.  Information presented by Tata Consultancy Services will be available to assist participants and spectators with event information, the course map and general event inquires as well as lost and found items. More details will be available in advance of race weekend.

Age Groups and Awards
Participants will compete in the following Male and Female Age Groups: 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & over.

Personal engraved finish medals will be awarded to the top five finishers in the above Age Groups.

Nike Pace Teams
Nike Pace Teams are comprised of marathon veteran who help others achieve their performance goals. Nike Pace Team Leaders will pace groups of runners according to the following finish times: 3:00, 3:05, 3:10, 3:15, 3:20, 3:25, 3:30, 3:35, 3:40, 3:45, 3:50, 3:55, 4:00, 4:10, 4:25, 4:30, 4:40, 4:55, 5:00, 5:10, 5:25 and 5:45. Team Competition
Take your performance to the next level by forming a team and participating in the Team Competition. The Bank of America Chicago Marathon Team Competition is free and open to all runners, running club members, groups of friends, co-workers and corporate teams. The Team Competition offers three divisions: Red for competitive teams, Blue, for runners of all abilities, and Corporate, for teams of employees.  The Team Competition offers Male, Female, Mixed, and Masters categories, as well as combined finish time and age-graded scoring.

Bank of America Chicago Marathon 27th Mile Post-Race Party
As soon as you cross the finish line, celebrate your achievement at the Bank of America Chicago Marathon 27th Mile Post-Race Party located in Grant Park's Butler Field. The outdoor celebration will feature live entertainment, and participant's age 21 and over (photo ID required) can redeem the tear-off portion of their bib number for one free 312 Urban Wheat Ale. Additional food and beverages will be available for purchase.

The 27th Mile Post-Race Party is open to the public from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Pasta Dinner Buffet
The Hilton Chicago Pasta Dinner Buffet will be held Saturday, October 6, from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. at the Hilton Chicago (720 S. Michigan Ave.).
